Our Little Story
 For 40 years, West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe has served customers around the country and has become a destination in Milwaukee. Literally hundreds of people from all 50 states share an annual tradition placing a holiday order or receiving gifts from our family store, or stopping in when they travel back to Wisconsin. Its not uncommon for us to remember your names and have a nice chat, people love to talk and so do we, not to mention sampling cheese.

In 2002, my brother Howard, wife Linda, and myself (Mark) took over The Lutz family tradition. We plan on continuing this tradition long into the future by continuing to offer the finest Wisconsin made cheeses.

We now have two locations; one in West Allis and the other in the trendy Milwaukee Public Market. The Milwaukee Public Market is a newer facility with year around specialty food vendors geared towards quality food, impeccable service, and becoming a gathering spot for the downtown area.

Our newly rennovated West Allis Shoppe now includes a café and deli with a full breakfast and lunch menu. We are proud of the results and now offer a cozy, nostalgic spot for meeting a loved one or a group of friends for lunch or a beverage.

We carry a large selection of Wisconsin Cheese and imported cheeses, many of which are award winning. In addition, we also carry a complete offering of handmade sausages, brats and Bavarian style meats made from traditional recipes. To complete our product offerings we have a wide selection of Wisconsin Made Gourmet foods, including jams, jellies, honey, spreads, candies and more. Our complete food selection will compliment and pair nicely with any cheese purchase or gift basket to satisfy even the pickiest of cheese aficionados.
